The trial against Mubarak is ongoing, Egypt is experiencing heavy political activity in the preparations to the parliament elections. After so many years of dictatorship, it doesn't come naturally.

NIMD is helping this democratisation process to take shape. Will Derks gives his views and experiences after his recent visits to the country.
