Cooperation between Dutch political parties on the issue of internal party elections has been applied in Burundi, to the benefit of local parties there.
This EISA report has the overall aim to study the internal functioning and external regulations of parties during the multi-party era in Tanzania, and to identify best practices for the Southern African region. It is based on in-depth interviews with key leaders of four major political parties and secondary material.
