This international expert meeting aimed to clarify the main challenges in intra-party democratization and share lessons learned. It specifically aimed to tackle issues of inclusivity in candidate selection, accountability of leadership and participation of rank-and-file members in party programmes. The expert meeting concluded by proposing a network for further cooperation.
