Njeri Kabeberi of the Centre for Multiparty Democracy in Kenya (supported by the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy) reacts to discussions during the SID Netherlands September 2007 conference on Democracy and Development. According to her, the donor countries should leave more freedom in the process of democratization instead of prescribing certain measures.
