In March 2010, NIMD and Hivos launched a joint publication, Beyond Orthodox Approaches: Assessing opportunities for democracy support in the Middle East and North Africa. Hivos have now posted a review of the book on their website.
On 26 March 2010 at a launch event in Amsterdam, NIMD and HIVOS present the publication 'Beyond Orthodox Approaches: Assessing opportunities for democracy support in the Middle East and North Africa'.
In this report, the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) recommends that the British government collaborates with NIMD in its democracy assistance programmes.
