Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy

On 19th of May 2009 Malawi will hold its fourth multiparty presidential and parliamentary elections since 1994. 14 million million voters will decide the country's immediate political future.

Ellen van Koppen, political advisor of the PvdA at NIMD, will follow the fortunes of the political parties and chart the campaigns and events leading up to the elections in her new blog.
