Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy

The NIMD Board is the institution’s supreme decision-making body. The Board is composed of an independent chairperson and one member for each of the participating political parties. The Board meets every two months.

After the elections in 2006, the elected parties not yet represented within NIMD were invited to join. No response was received from the PVV; the Socialist Party (SP) and Party for the Animals declined the invitation. Discussions with the SP are on-going, however.
