Yvonne de Baay

Job Title: Assistant to the Board and Executive Director

Working with NIMD since 2003, Yvonne N. de Baay is the Personal Assistant of the Executive Director. She also coordinates all NIMD Board and Supervisory Council meetings and provides direct assistance to members of both.

Previously, Yvonne has worked as Executive Secretary or Personal Assistant to the Managing Directors of several commercial business, including RR Donnelley Europe (magazine printing), Roland Berger Consultants (strategy consultants) and the Ter Haak Group (shipping and cargo handling in the port of Amsterdam).

In her spare time Yvonne is a member of the municipal council in Diemen, representing the Dutch Liberal Party (VVD). Speaking English, French, Spanish and Italian alongside Dutch, Yvonne has followed several language courses in Lausanne, Seville, Costa Rica and Rome. In 1996 Yvonne was elected as Miss Ajax with the famous Dutch football team. In this capacity she assisted board members and technical staff, held interviews, worked with charity organizations and represented the 1st Ajax team in the Dutch competition and at European tournaments.
