Lot van Hooijdonk is an NIMD Supervisory Board member since 2008.

Ms van Hooijdonk studied History - International Relations at Utrecht University. During her studies she did 2 years of Political Science at the University of Florida. Subsequently she followed Clingendael's Foreign Relations course.

After her studies Ms van Hooijdonk started working for the Ministry of Transport. At first as Speechwriter, then as Press Officer and Policy Advisor on Mobility and Road Pricing.

As of 2010 Lot van Hooijdonk is the Deputy Director of the Natuur en Milieufederatie Utrecht. She is also the International Secretary of the Green Left Party (GroenLinks).
