Newsletter launched at the Partnership Days 2009 in Nairobi, Kenya. The newsletter will be used as a vehicle for continued communication among the partners and NIMD and as a means of consolidating the partnership for democracy in the countries present.

On Tuesday night December 16th, 2008, the Komunitas Indonesia untuk Demokrasi (KID) presented a DVD with all the data on the last general elections in 2004 at a well-attended meeting in Jakarta.

From 25 to 27 April, 2007, at the invitation of NIMD the seven main Indonesian political parties engaged in a dialogue in The Hague, The Netherlands, concerning possible future collaboration between themselves and Dutch political parties.

On 14 June 2007 seven political parties established an inclusive forum to promote democratic values in Indonesia.

During a three-day visit to the Netherlands hosted by NIMD, seven Indonesian political parties and their Dutch counterparts agreed upon future collaboration to stimulate the democratization process in Indonesia.
